Australian Football – Hearing in the arbitration procedure between WADA, 34 current and former players of Essendon FC, the AFL and ASADA

Lausanne, 25 August 2015 – The Court of Arbitration for Sport (CAS) confirms that the hearing in the arbitration procedure between the World Anti-Doping Agency (WADA), 34 current and former players of Essendon FC, the Australian Football League (AFL) and the Australian Anti-Doping Authority (ASADA) will be held in Sydney, Australia. The hearing will commence on 16 November 2015 and is expected to last for between 5-7 days.

In view of the parties’ request that this matter be handled confidentially by the CAS, we will make no further comment at this time.
