Hellenic Modern Pentathlon Federation v./UPIM

Lausanne, 31 July 2008, the Hellenic Modern Pentathlon Federation has filed an appeal at the Court of Arbitration for Sport against the Union Internationale de Pentathlon Moderne with regard to the eligibility of Ms Angie Darby to participate in the 2008 Beijing Olympic Games.

Following the agreement of the parties, the CAS has initiated an expedited procedure.  An oral hearing will be held on Wednesday, 6 August 2008 at the CAS Court Office in Lausanne.

It is expected that the Panel will issue its decision shortly after the hearing.
