CAS Ad hoc Division for the FIFA World Cup 2026

The Court of Arbitration for Sport (CAS) will open a remote Ad hoc Division for the FIFA World Cup 2026.

With tailored and simplified rules, the division will be on standby to settle any legal disputes that arise in an expedited timeframe. It will operate throughout the competition, from 11 June to 19 July 2026, and decisions may be rendered as fast as 48 hours.

The rules are available here on the CAS website in English, French and Spanish. Appeals may only be lodged after all other internal legal channels have been exhausted.
