CAS hearing - Football Association of Malaysia (FAM) et al. v. FIFA

The Court of Arbitration for Sport confirms that an in-person hearing for the following procedures will be held on 26 February 2026 at CAS headquarters in Lausanne:

CAS 2025/A/11992 Imanol Javier Machuca v. FIFA
CAS 2025/A/11996 Football Association of Malaysia (FAM) v. FIFA
CAS 2025/A/11998 Joao Vitor Brandao Figueiredo v. FIFA
CAS 2025/A/11999 Gabriel Felipe Arrocha v. FIFA
CAS 2025/A/12000 Jon Irazabal Iraurgui v. FIFA
CAS 2025/A/12002 Hector Alejandro Hevel Serrano v. FIFA

The procedures are consolidated and will be heard jointly.

The players involved in the appeals were sanctioned by FIFA on 25 September 2025 with a 12-month suspension from any football related activities. On 26 January 2026, CAS issued provisional measures to suspend (stay, in legal terms) the sanction until a final CAS decision is rendered.
